According to the developer, the first thing that most often draws attention when mentioning cryptocurrency payments is their ability to overcome censorship. At the same time, global businesses, charities and other companies are more interested in the convenience of transactions.

In response to his subscribers' comments, Ethereum's creator reiterated that resilience restrictions is indeed an important feature of transactions using digital assets. However, based on his own experience, he decided to highlight another feature of cryptocurrency payments that puts them above other alternatives.

Buterin also pointed out that the most important condition for public acceptance and further implementation of cryptocurrencies in the sphere of international payments is the guarantee of their neutrality. All other properties of digital assets are of secondary importance, the developer concluded.
