The Central African Republic has decided to turn its resources into tokens

Fosten-Arkange Touadera, the head of the Central African Republic (CAR), announced the imminent start of the process of converting the country's natural resources into the format of tokens. This initiative was announced by the head of state himself on Twitter.

The state project is called Sango. As part of its implementation the government of the CAR is going to provide external access to its tokenized assets. The right to buy the country's natural resources will be acquired by organizations working in the cryptocurrency sphere and contributing to the economic development of the republic.

Despite its status as one of the poorest countries in the world, the Central African Republic can offer investors its considerable natural resources. Precious metals can be mined on the territory of the state, uranium, as well as oil.

Previously, the Central African authorities have already expressed their enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies. Recently, in the country's territory Bitcoin is accepted as a means of payment in parallel to the franc. In this regard, the current
African country's current government has followed the example of El Salvador, the first state in the world where BTC can freely buy and sell goods and services.
