The lack of stability in the cryptocurrency market and its significant decline recently had no impact on the further development of Bitcoin. Experts of analytical agency Glassnode came to this conclusion.

According to information from the analysts of the company, for the first time in the entire period of existence of the first cryptocurrency, the number of registered addresses in its network passed the mark of 1 billion. Glassnode experts say that Bitcoin continues to attract more and more investors amid the collapse of the entire industry.

At the same time, experts note the decline of interest in the first cryptocurrency as a high-risk asset. A similar situation is observed in the market of traditional assets. Experts attribute this state of affairs to an increase in the rate of inflation. However, the fall in the value of BTC helped to stop the outflow of investors and even attract new ones.

Nevertheless, Glassnode agency notes that the increase in the number of created addresses is not directly related to the growth of the number of users of the cryptocurrency. Sometimes a single investor can register several addresses for himself at once. This is done to ensure a higher level of privacy for transactions, the organization explained.
