Cryptoinvestors began to be sent questionable tokens Ukraine and Peace

Users of cryptocurrency wallets around the world began to receive new tokens to their accounts with Ukraine and Peace tokens referring to today's events. As cryptoanalyst Dmitry Fomin warned, this kind of mass mailing of tokens may indicate fraud.

According to the expert, cryptoinvestors who received tokens from unknown sources to their wallets will most likely not be able to sell them. An error will appear at the corresponding request, which indicates that the sale function was originally disabled.

The goal of fraudsters promoting and distributing their tokens is to get cryptocurrency holders to buy them on the relevant platforms. Thus, people themselves give their money to criminals, and it is simply impossible to sell tokens received in return, Fomin explained.

In addition, the analyst continued, there is a threat of losing access to their wallet. Fomin suggested that wanting to get rid of useless tokens, cryptoinvestors will start to make mistakes. Among other things, scammers could make contact with them and request access to a person's wallet. By contacting fraudsters, a cryptocurrency holder almost always condemns himself to the loss of control over available assets, the expert concluded.
