Cryptocurrency exchange FTX has signed a first-of-its-kind contract on cooperation with a popular athlete. The choice of the site fell on the tennis player from Japan Naomi Osaka, who was at the top of the list of the Association (WTA).

As representatives of the exchange said, the athlete will officially become part of the team FTX Trading. She will be assigned a corresponding salary, which will be accrued in cryptocurrency. Osaka's main responsibility will be to popularize digital assets among the female audience.

The exchange was prompted to take such a step by the results of statistics pointing to the weak involvement of women in the cryptocurrency industry. According to FTX, women lag behind men in third-party financial markets as well. However, it is the sphere of digital assets that gives access to investments to absolutely everyone, which allows to balance the number of users of both genders, said the former first racket of the world.

In addition, it became known that Osaka, in addition to the standard advertising for athletes and other public personalities, will start creating content on her own. Thus, the tennis player will be fully immersed in the work of the exchange, where she will also be able to invest herself.
