The famous Russian mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov had a virtual boxing match with his former UFC colleague, lightweight Max Holloway. The fight was organized for the first time within the meta-universe and immediately attracted the attention of a wide audience.

The fight by the rules of boxing was stopped in the first round after Nurmagomedov managed to send his opponent to a knockout. During the virtual match, statistics were kept on the performance of both fighters. So, Khabib landed 98 punches on his opponent, while Holloway responded with only 65 hits. Despite the virtual format of the meeting, the fighters still had to put a lot of effort, as they used motion capture technology and the Oculus Rift device.

After the final bell, the Russian shared his impressions. According to him, it was an interesting experience, but he was tired. Nurmagomedov also believes that the future is in the development of meta universes.

It is noted that during the fight, the UFC titular fighters were not able to perform using their animation models. This meta-universe offered to try on the images of the iconic characters of the movie "Rocky 4" to their opponents. Khabib appeared as Apollo Creed, and Ivan Drago became Holloway.
