Griffin Gaming Partners venture capital fund to invest $750 million in blockchain games

American investment company Griffin Gaming Partners will create a platform to support rapidly growing projects focused on blockchain-based game creation. The venture capital fund plans to raise $750 million, which will make it one of the largest projects aimed at developing the gaming industry.

Representatives of Griffin Gaming Partners are convinced that games are at the forefront of interactive entertainment, ahead of movies, music and books. According to the company's experts, in the next decade, this industry will become more popular and profitable by about 250%.

The management of the venture capital fund has repeatedly noted that their interest in meta-universes and NFT is fading over time. Nevertheless, blockchain is still considered a promising field, and there are high hopes for it. That's why Griffin Gaming Partners continues to invest in NFT and meta-universe companies.

In parallel, another large company of this kind, Bain Capital, has also stepped up. It plans to direct the $560 million raised to support developers of blockchain and digital currencies.

Earlier one of the most influential game studios Electronic Arts notified the public about the absence of plans to introduce NFT technology in its products.
