The South Korean authorities have begun to develop a large-scale meta-universe that will function for the benefit of the state in several areas at once. Already now for the construction of the ecosystem from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of the country has been allocated more than $ 180 million.

The government said in a statement that the developed virtual platform will influence the development of corporate growth in South Korea, as well as support the improvement of digital content. In addition, the Ministry of Science believes that this kind of innovation will give the country a boost in the development of entrepreneurship, media and education within the framework of virtual reality.

Authorities believe that the meta-universe will allow organizations from all over the world to gain seamless access to commercial companies in South Korea. To bring the corporate sector into the meta-universe more quickly and efficiently, the agency has already planned to provide additional financial and technological support.

Now it is important to develop a global-level meta-universe ecosystem so that the industry can finally have a starting point for development, said Park Yongyu, one of the ministry's top officials.
