The creator of the second most popular cryptocurrency in the world Ethereum Vitalik Buterin commented on the escalating situation in Ukraine. In his Twitter account, the programmer expressed the opinion that the war between Russia and Ukraine is not beneficial to absolutely anyone and put the responsibility for resolving the conflict on the Kremlin.

According to Buterin, the introduction of Russian military forces will harm not only Ukraine, Russia and their citizens, but also the world as a whole. The way the situation will turn will be decided not by the current Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, and not even by NATO, but by the Russian authorities, the programmer wrote. He also expressed hope for the "wise choice" of the Kremlin.
