Researchers found out how popular cryptocurrencies are with rich people

About 60% of people with high incomes had experience investing in cryptocurrencies. This is the conclusion of a recent study by Capgemini, a consulting company.

The organization conducted a survey to collect the necessary data. Just under 3 thousand people with big wealth took part in it. The value of assets of one half of respondents ranged from $1 to $30 million, and the other half exceeded $30 million. The company was interested in how these wealthy people felt about the development of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs and metaclasses.

In the published report Capgemini experts pointed out that 71% of respondents had previous experience in investing in digital assets. Most of the investors are under 40 years old and their investment preferences are more often reduced to cryptocurrencies, but not NFT or other assets.

At the same time, the researchers pointed out that such investments still occupy a very small share of the total volume of investments. However, previously this share was even smaller, indicating a growing demand for alternative means of saving and the accumulation of funds. Also, special programs teaching beginners how to properly work with digital assets have recently become popular, Capgemini concluded.
