Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken CEO Jesse Powell's optimism about bitcoin remains at a high level. According to his own words in a recent conversation with Bloomberg Exclusive, he still expects to buy a Bugatti hypercar for 1 BTC.

During an interview with reporters, Powell admitted that his predictions about the growth of the first cryptocurrency last year did not become a reality. Despite this, he doesn't intend to change his optimistic mood and oppose BTC. According to his expectations from last year, he intended to buy a Lamborghini car in 2021 for one unit of the cryptocurrency, and a Bugatti by the end of 2022.

The businessman saw a threat of the crysis, but didn't expect that it would be so radical. However, Powell still publicly promises to buy a luxury hypercar starting from $2 million for just 1 BTC. Today's value of the first cryptocurrency stopped at $24 thousand per unit.

Kraken's CEO also shared that he managed to buy bitcoin when it fell to $18,000. Powell is confident in BTC's long-term growth, as he sees its fundamentals improving. In conclusion, he reiterated that he would never speak out against the first cryptocurrency.
