According to Sega Vice President Shuji Utsumi, non-interchangeable tokens can be seamlessly integrated into the Super Game project, which is predicted to become the basis for the development of AAA-class cross-platform video games. Utsumi believes that the games industry is getting richer by combining different cultures and technologies. He suggested looking at social media projects or streaming platforms, where people from different parts of the world can witness how other users play games.

In early 2022 representatives of Sega noted that the likelihood of their use of NFT technology in their projects depends on the opinion of gamers. The company's management explained their decision by the fact that the loyalty of the audience is much more important to them than the implementation of any innovations.

At the same time Ubisoft, another major game studio, announced that they were not even ready to consider the issue of of integrating non-interchangeable tokens into their projects. The reason is that players are not ready to use NFT because of the banal lack of necessary knowledge.
