The University of Tokyo will begin to teach students how to work with metaverses

Japan has figured out how to make up for the shortage of qualified personnel to work with digital technology. For this purpose, by the end of this year, Todai University in Tokyo will launch a special educational project focused on the development of metaverses.

Both school pupils and students will be able to take part in the training. It is noted that the educational courses
have an applied nature, so part of the classes will be held in a virtual reality. They will be conducted, including staff of Todai Engineering Department. At the end of training initiators of the project promise to hold a ceremony to award special certificates.

In addition to the metaverses, students will study non-fungible tokens (NFT). The course will not do without the necessary knowledge about the blockchain. The participants of the program will be told in details about the current situation in the industry of digital assets and technologies, as well as introduced to the possible ways to solve some or other problems.

The organizers of the project stressed that in parallel they try to involve as many women as possible in the work on metaverses. According to them, now in the study of new technologies, for the most part, are occupied by the representatives of the male sex.
