American billionaire called buying real estate in metaverses "the dumbest idea"

Billionaire and famous crypto-enthusiast from the U.S. Mark Cuban spoke out sharply about investing in real estate in the metaverses. He called such an idea unsuccessful and "dumbest".

Cuban explained why he thinks so and argued his position by comparing it to buying real estate. Investments in houses and apartments really allow people to save and increase their savings, but only in real life, because the amount of land is limited. In metaverses the situation is quite different, because physical limits on the construction of housing and other facilities does not exist there, the billionaire explained.

However, he assumed that in the future metaverses will continue to evolve, and this, in turn, will lead to higher prices for virtual real estate, bought earlier by users.

Previously, Mark Cuban has repeatedly expressed positive about the NFT and metaverses. His investment portfolio includes the company Yuga Labs, which owns well-known collections of tokens, including Bored Apes Yacht Club. The billionaire is also remembered for his statement about the positive effect of the collapse of the cryptocurrency market. In his opinion, it will allow the industry to "clean up" and become a source of innovation.
