One of the richest people on the planet, the creator of Microsoft Bill Gates once again criticized the popularization of bitcoin among ordinary people. The reason for Gates' new statement about the first cryptocurrency was a recent social media post by the founder of Tesla, Ilon Musk.

The billionaire reacted to Musk's post, in which he obviously supported bitcoin. Such publications of celebrities encouraging investments in cryptocurrencies have a serious impact on public sentiment, Gates worried. According to him, Musk may not worry about the direction of the BTC exchange rate, because he has "a lot of money". Most people who succumb to "bitcoin mania" don't have enough capital not to feel at least the slightest fluctuations in the rate of BTC, the businessman added.
