Chicago Bulls basketball club will release a unique NFT collection

The Chicago Bulls, the American basketball club representing Chicago, intend to launch a limited-edition collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) called The Aurochs. It is noted that some portion of the proceeds will go to charity.

The Aurochs NFT collection will be hosted on Coinbase's NFT platform. The Chicago Bulls, who manage the affairs of the basketball club of the same name, said that a total of 23 NFTs will be released. The company emphasizes that some of the best digital artists in the world worked on the collection.

In a statement, the basketball club also said that the task of the authors of the collection was to reinterpret historical team logo. The Chicago Bulls' world-famous trademark has not changed since 1966, the company recalled.

The authors of the initiative promise that part of the proceeds from the sale of the collection will go to the Chicago-based After School Matters nonprofit. The organization specializes in free recreational activities for high school students. The nonprofit was chosen after the artists who designed the collection voted for it, Chicago Bulls explained.
