Ford will release digital copies of its cars in the metaverse

The giant of the American automobile industry, Ford, intends to firmly establish itself in the metaverse industry. This is evidenced by the large number of applications to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to secure trademarks for the company, which will then be used for virtual Ford vehicles and branded clothing.

The bureau said the car company intends to digitally reflect its most iconic models, such as the muscle car Mustang and SUV Bronco. Ford has also decided to start producing virtual branded products and various artwork and materials related to the brand's long history.

Within the metaverses all sorts of virtual products, which can be downloaded and used in digital worlds, will be available for Ford fans. The question is about the items of clothing, cars and spare parts. Concern's ambitions do not end here. Already now its representatives are discussing the development of their own site for the sale of NFT.

Earlier the step towards the virtual worlds was made by the other well-known automaker Renault. Its Korean
Division has signed an agreement with a metaverse The Sandbox, in which the latter provides the brand an opportunity to place in the world of their own site.
