The head of Brave talks about the signs of a scam in the NFT-space

The use of NFT (non-interchangeable token) today is often associated with fraud and is not taken seriously. A similar situation was observed with the Internet in the period of its active development. Brendan Eich, a representative of Brave's management, shared his opinion on this issue.

He recalled that the world now uses the concept of Internet technology Web 3.0. As for the previous versions, like the NFT-space today, they were full of scams and all sorts of nonsense, said Eich. He compared the degree of development of NFT technology to small towns that are far from the center and don't have enough infrastructure yet.

Also, Eich pointed out that in the cryptocurrency community there is still a visible isolation of some specialists from others. In this regard, Brave intends to make every effort to bridge this gap, as the lack of unity provokes a number of problems.

Brendan Eich concluded that the situation when a number of professionals are only concerned with their projects, while the work of other professionals is not even considered, threatens to slow down the development of the NFT-space.

To recall, Chainalysis experts earlier reported a significant increase in the volume of fictitious transactions with the help of non-swappable tokens. Basically, this dynamics is attributed to the growing popularity of the system as a tool for income legalization.
