The head of the crypto exchange FTX complained about the reluctance of industry giants to save other companies from bankruptcy

Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, criticized his industry peers for their reluctance to help less fortunate industry participants affected by the crisis. According to Freed, he doesn't want to be the only one doing it.

The day before, the billionaire took part in a Decrypt podcast. During the talk, he said that so far, apart from FTX, no other major company in the digital asset industry has expressed support for fellow industry players on the brink of bankruptcy. Bankman-Fried admitted that he would be happy for anyone to join his initiative or even take matters into their own hands. He pointed out that he took on helping others because he was unsure if anyone was even going to do it.

According to the head of the crypto exchange, he has repeatedly negotiated with representatives of other companies to join together to "save" the industry. Unfortunately, almost all of them declined the offer, Bankman-Fried concluded.

Earlier in an interview with Decrypt, one of the founders of the exchange Binance Yi He emphasized that the company intends to invest only in those players who can in the long run to benefit the exchange and the industry as a whole.
