Trader predicts bitcoin to fall to $10,000

In the foreseeable future, bitcoin is likely to decline twice from its current level to $10,000. A disappointing forecast for the first cryptocurrency and the industry as a whole was voiced by a trader calling himself filbfilb. A few years ago, he managed to predict the end of the bearish trend.

In an interview with Cointelegraph, the specialist said that his prediction is based on the correlation of bitcoin with Nasdaq assets, which in turn is under constant pressure due to decisions of the U.S. Federal Reserve regulator. To date, BTC can be positioned more as a risky asset than as insurance against inflation, he said.

He also associated the further development of the first cryptocurrency with a worsening social and economic situation in the European Union. According to him, the coming winter will be a real test for the Old World, which has already faced an energy crisis.

The trader noted that in the current situation it is important to prevent further strain on relations between the countries. Otherwise, the future of risky assets, and with them, cryptocurrencies will be at risk. If the dialogue does not develop, we can expect the fall of bitcoin to $10-11 thousand per unit, concluded the expert.
